2023 WHITE CROSS RECREATION VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

Please see below for details regarding the 2 different age groups for the 2023 Rec season!

Signups: Online now through Thursday, Sept. 14th (quick turnaround)

Elementary School Age Group (3rd-5th grade): This age group is co-ed. This group will practice once per week(on average) in a volleyball clinic like setting. They will rotate through stations (Serving, passing, etc.). They will play one match per week (most on Friday evenings or Saturdays) after a couple of practice sessions. For the matches, there will be one big rotation for all players. Volley lite balls will be used.

 

Middle School Age Group (6th-8th grade plus any young rising 14u 9th graders): This age group is co-ed. This group will practice once per (on average) in a volleyball clinic like setting. They will rotate through stations (Serving, passing, etc.). They will play one match per week (mainly Friday evenings or Saturdays) after a couple of practice sessions. For the matches, there will be court managers assisting both teams. Rotation will be like a middle school match.

(If a player’s skill level is inexperienced/experienced we may suggest to move within groups.)

Skills Assessment is Friday, September 15th, 2023 (PLEASE ATTEND if at all possible)

Elementary Group: 6:15pm-7:15pm, Middle School Group: 7:30-8:30pm
